Health & Longevity
What I’m Learning About Health & Longevity
For me, health and longevity are not about chasing perfection or trying to stop ageing. They’re about understanding my body better, paying attention to the things I can influence, and making choices that help me stay strong, capable and well for as long as possible.
I’m learning through my own tests, appointments, training, experiments and everyday life — from metabolic health and bone health to screening, recovery, nutrition and the tools that help me make sense of what’s happening inside my body.
A big part of this is knowing that I’ve done what I can to look after my own health. None of us can control everything, but I don’t want to look back and think, “I wish I’d paid attention to that,” or “I wish I’d done more.” If something happens one day, I want to know I gave myself the best chance I could.
The Areas I’m Paying Attention To
There isn’t one single thing I’m focusing on. I’m looking at the bigger picture — the areas that can affect how I feel now, how well I function, and how healthy I can stay over time.

Metabolic Health
Blood sugar, insulin resistance, cholesterol, weight and the markers that help me understand my metabolic health.

Bone Health
Heavy strength training, calcium-rich foods and the everyday choices I’m making to protect my bones and stay strong as I get older.

Screening & Prevention
Keeping up with checks, screening and prevention so I’m not leaving important things to chance.

Nutrition
Protein, fibre, calcium and the everyday food choices that support my health and strength.

Recovery & Sleep
Sleep, recovery, stress and the habits that help my body cope with training and everyday life.

Tests, Data & Tools
The scans, blood tests, CGM data and other tools that help me see what’s actually going on.
