What I’m Learning About Food & Real Life

I’m learning that eating well doesn’t have to mean eating perfectly. I want food to support my health, strength and energy, but I also want to enjoy meals out, celebrations and the foods I genuinely like.

I’m paying more attention to protein, fibre, calcium and how different foods make me feel. Tracking has helped me learn a lot, but I’m trying to use it as a tool rather than let it take over.

I’m also learning not to make one meal or one day bigger than it needs to be. Sometimes I eat more than I planned, or choose something just because I want it. I’m trying to enjoy it, move on and get back to the way I want to eat at the next meal.

The Areas I’m Paying Attention To

There isn’t one single thing I’m focusing on. I’m looking at the bigger picture — eating enough protein, getting plenty of fibre and calcium, making everyday meals work, and still enjoying restaurants, celebrations and real life.
